Neoexpressionist? Neo-sutura. Neo-herida. Neo-grito.I grew up in chaos. Not the kind you see in movies. The kind that wakes you up at 3 am and you don't know if it's hunger, or just the noise in your head. I survived. Not with glory. With bruises. Sometimes with empty pockets like everybody. I've rebuilt from ashes. More than once. More than twice. I've been motivated. I've been erased. I've watched my own digital body disappear like a ghost that forgot to say goodbye. And I got up. Again. Again. Again. Not because I'm strong. Because I don't know how to stop. Because that's what you do when the floor is made of broken glass and you're barefoot…My art is soaked in memory like a sponge soaked in gas. Abstract noise. Glitch. Fragments. Traditional paint screaming inside a screen. I don't separate the digital from the real. It's all the same scar. This started with a piece of paper. A broken one. I keep a diary, and one day I just drew something on it. That was it. No big plan. Around that time I was running a lot. Several kilometers a week. And when I got back home, sweaty and tired, I would sit down and draw. That became my thing. Run, come back, draw. Week after week. Month after month. The sketches started piling up. And this shape kept coming back: an organ. But not a normal one. This one had chimneys. Ducts. Tubes coming out of everywhere. Like a body that was also a machine. Like something that was breathing but also falling apart. Then one day, while I was running, the ground started shaking. An earthquake. I stopped. I felt my own heart pounding in my chest, and for a second I couldn't tell if it was me or the earth. That's the day I decided to start the painting. I went home and began working on what I now call the "LOG: C0rt'sol" Because that's what it felt like. Something alive inside something broken.I didn't know what it was. I just kept drawing it. Every sketch added something new. A scar. A stain. Then I took all those sketches and moved to the computer. I painted it by hand. With a mouse. No tablet, no stylus, just me and the screen. Layer by layer. Same discipline as the running. Show up and doing the work for .art award 2026 getting done. It's not a monster. It's a log. A record of everything I've been carrying. The black stuff dripping from its head is everything I left behind. The tube on its back is who I am, written in a language that nobody can read.I've lost all my Data more than once. And I always start over. Same as this creature. One leg firm, one leg melting. But still walking. Still breathing. Still making stuff.I don't just create images. I create because if I stop, the chaos eats me alive. And I don't want to be eaten. I make art. Perfection is a lie. A clean room with no windows. I make art for truth. Ugly truth. Naked truth. Truth that drools. Truth that trembles. Truth that smells like wet cardboard and bus stations in the middle of the night.I have a chair, a laptop, and a ghost in my chest that won't shut up. And I've learned to listen. I've learned to turn that ghost into something. Sometimes it's not a gift. Sometimes it's a daily fight. And I show up to it every single day.Still bleeding. Still breathing. Still standing. I'm still here.

My name is Julio, known artistically as YUSAYMON (@yusaymonj @yusaymoon). I am a Venezuelan artist and graphic designer. My background is one of survival—growing up in chaos, navigating the streets, and enduring the harsh realities of migration. I have rebuilt my life from ashes more than once, facing the erasure of my digital work through hacks and starting over from zero.I paint with acrylics on cardboard, and I also create digitally on the computer using Krita and other image editing software. I hold a degree in graphic design. This dual practice—physical and digital—shapes my work: raw, visceral, deeply personal. I combine abstract noise, glitch, and traditional painting techniques screaming inside a screen. I don't separate the digital from the real; it's all the same scar.I have been active in the cryptoart space since 2017, when I began minting and selling my work on platforms like SuperRare. Over these years, I have built a practice that is honest, resilient, and constantly evolving.I have been here since the beginning.
I started with a drawing. Pen, Crayons on a small sketchbook with thick textured paper. Then I took a photo of it and brought it to the computer. By hand. With a mouse. I started doing the lines — Krita has several tools that simulate crayons and pens, so I used those to keep that same feeling. Then I started mixing with brushes. For days. I wanted something nostalgic but out of time at the same time. Something with noise. So week after week, for about four months, I kept generating textures, then going back, re-applying them, polishing. Over and over.I had a lot of time to decide what stayed and what left. I changed shapes and I erased layers like crazy. That's the process. Nothing fancy.
